Carrington has had a wealth of international knowledge and experience in content development, production and broadcasting during the 25 years of his media career. He has worked for BBC, Discovery Channel, LEGO TV & Film, Cartoon Network, HIT Entertainment, and Zodiak Media on award winning programmes including Charlie & Lola,Shaun the Sheep, LazyTown and Double Dare. He currently works as ABC Content Executive, steering the overall children’s commissioning strategy, as well as overseeing ABC children’s production hubs.
Carrington will discuss the current landscape of children's television in Australia, the importance of the #SaveKidsTV campaign to protect the children’s television industry, and what the ABC is looking to commission in children's entertainment.
